Philippians 2:15-16 The Message
Do everything readily and cheerfully—no bickering, no second-guessing allowed! Go out into the world uncorrupted, a breath of fresh air in this squalid and polluted society. Provide people with a glimpse of good living and of the living God. Carry the light-giving Message into the night so I’ll have good cause to be proud of you on the day that Christ returns. You’ll be living proof that I didn’t go to all this work for nothing.

When we go out into the world you should be life giving and light giving.

Many of us know how to do church, we just don’t know Jesus.

Philippians 1:12-14 (NLT)
And I want you to know, my dear brothers and sisters, that everything that has happened to me here has helped to spread the Good News. For everyone here, including the whole palace guard, knows that I am in chains because of Christ. And because of my imprisonment, most of the believers here have gained confidence and boldly speak God’s message without fear.

Your problems do not dictate God’s power.

Philippians 4:12 (NIV)
I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty. I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want.

Contentment means a state of peaceful happiness.

You start faking it.

Jeremiah 6:14 (NIV)
“They dress the wound of my people as though it were not serious. ‘Peace, peace,’ they say, when there is no peace.”

1 Corinthians 10:12 (NIV)
So, if you think you are standing firm, be careful that you don’t fall!

You learn to ignore the stink.

Or you’ll deal with it later.

Three questions:
1. Are you faking it? Going through the motions?
2. I deal with "it" later.
3. You give up.

So, if you think you are standing firm, be careful that you don’t fall!

God deliver us from Social Media Syndrome.

Somebody needs to know the chaos in your life.

Isaiah 40:31 (KJV)
They that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.

Matthew 7:7 (NKJV)
Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.

Get with God. Start today. If you don’t your problems will grow.

Hebrews 12:15 (NIV)
See to it that no one falls short of the grace of God and that no bitter root grows up to cause trouble and defile many.

You will never be able to close an account you didn’t open.

You must deal with your problems. Give it to God.

Ephesians 4:31 (NIV)
Get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger, brawling and slander, along with every form of malice.

We receive Grace from God – it can never be achieved.

John 5:39-40 (NIV)
You study the Scriptures diligently because you think that in them you have eternal life. These are the very Scriptures that testify about me, yet you refuse to come to me to have life.

Romans 5:8 (NIV)
But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

Get a relationship with Jesus – not the church or the pastor.

It’s already paid – I can’t earn it!

Philippians 4:13 (NLT)
I can do everything through Christ, who gives me strength.

Luke 5:17 (NKJV)
Now it happened on a certain day, as He was teaching, that there were Pharisees and teachers of the law sitting by, who had come out of every town of Galilee, Judea, and Jerusalem. And the power of the Lord was present to heal them.

Luke 5:19-20 (NKJV)
And when they could not find how they might bring him in, because of the crowd, they went up on the housetop and let him down with his bed through the tiling into the midst before Jesus. When He saw their faith, He said to him, “Man, your sins are forgiven you.”


Never forget, God is in you and with you always. He will never forget you, He will never turn away. He is listening and always, God Loves You No Matter What!

Acts is the history of the first churches and the spread of Christianity. After the death of Jesus, Christianity existed almost exclusively among the Jews. The first part of Acts portrays the meaning of Christianity, how it was shared, and how it was lived out in a closed community of Jews whose common culture was based on the Old Testament.
