How Jesus Can Make Your Impossible Possible
If you long to see God work in miraculous ways in the life of your church, you will love the faith-building, life-giving message found in The Grave Robber.
Join pastor and bestselling author Mark Batterson on a seven-week journey as he reveals the incredible power of the seven miraculous signs of Jesus found in the Gospel of John and walks us through the very spots where Jesus chose to reveal himself through these miraculous events.
Miracles are happening all around us all the time, but you won’t see them if you don’t know how to look for them.
Come to Bible Study hungry; Grilled Hamburgers, French Fries, Potato Salad night starting at 6pm.
Children are welcome and child care is provided. Everyone is welcome and please, bring a friend or two or three…
Prayer Guide: The Prayer Guide is also new addition to the Real Hope In Christ website and can be found at RealHopeInChrist.com.
Text to Tithe: Due to a number of requests for a more "modern" way to tithe, Text to Tithe has been created. It’s safe, fast, and secure. Just text the word, "give" to (786) 288-0839 and follow the link. Thanks!
PRAYER: Is Prayer Important?
The way of prayer is truly the way of life. Let us give ourselves to prayer! Jesus prayed much even though He was God’s only begotten Son from eternity past.
Through His words and His actions Jesus tells us how import prayer is.
“Now in the morning, having risen a long while before daylight, He went out and departed to a solitary place; and there He prayed.” Mark 1:35.
“You do not have because you do not ask.” James 4:2.
“Until now you have asked nothing in My name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be full.” John 16:24
Prayer Partners are available at the front of the worship area after today’s service.
SERMON NOTES: Pastor Jeremy Foster, November 17, 2019.
The Best Life: How to Live Your Best Life.
Living your best life isn’t equivalent to a nice time on vacation – it happens when you fulfill the purpose God created you for.
Psalm 139:16 New International Version (NIV)
16 Your eyes saw my unformed body; all the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be.
God just doesn’t have plans for your life He has plans for every day of your life.
John 10:10 New International Version (NIV)
10 The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.
God does not make mistakes. He calls you but He will not make you do want what He has called you to do.
Hebrews 9:27 New International Version (NIV)
27 Just as people are destined to die once, and after that to face judgment,
God has placed eternity in our hearts.
Psalm 39:4-5 New International Version (NIV)
4 “Show me, Lord, my life’s end and the number of my days; let me know how fleeting my life is.
5 You have made my days a mere handbreadth; the span
of my years is as nothing before you. Everyone is but a breath, even those who seem secure.
Your best life isn’t the life you’re living now; it’s the life that lives beyond you.
Psalm 112:6 New International Version (NIV)
6 Surely the righteous will never be shaken; they will be remembered forever.
1. Live with consistency
Proverbs 25:14 New International Version (NIV)
14 Like clouds and wind without rain is one who boasts of gifts never given.
Have you ever made promises that you didn’t keep?
Proverbs 22:1 New International Version (NIV)
22 A good name is more desirable than great riches; to be esteemed is better than silver or gold.
2. Serve with intensity
Proverbs 14:21 New International Version (NIV)
21 It is a sin to despise one’s neighbor, but blessed is the one who is kind to the needy.
Be intense about serving others.
Mark 9:34-35 New International Version (NIV)
34 But they kept quiet because on the way they had argued about who was the greatest.
35 Sitting down, Jesus called the Twelve and said, “Anyone who wants to be first must be the very last, and the servant of all.”
Our church can never do all that it is called to do without you.
There is a reason you are here. What are you waiting for?
What you call patience Heaven calls procrastination.
3. Give with generosity
Psalm 112:9 New International Version (NIV)
9 They have freely scattered their gifts to the poor, their righteousness endures forever; their horn will be lifted high in honor.
If you want to know where your heart is follow your money.
Proverbs 11:29 New International Version (NIV)
29 Whoever brings ruin on their family will inherit only wind, and the fool will be servant to the wise.
4. Share Christ with urgency.
Every second that passes is a second that is gone forever.
Bringing the Word is hard work but well worth it.
Every soul needs to know the Word and the Gospel.
There are 4.9 billion people in the world who do not know the Word. They do not know the Gospel.
If the hope of the world is the church then we have to get people saved.
What are we waiting for?
At Real Hope In Christ our purpose is to love the Lord our God with all of our hearts and with all of our souls and with all of our minds.
Our focus begins with all the people of Citrus County and by the Grace of God we will:
Gather together to worship and celebrate God,
Grow in our knowledge and faith,
Give in love and,
Go out into the world to shine brightly with the light of salvation from our Savior Jesus Christ and tell the world what we know is true; God Loves You No Matter What!
We boldly ask God to help us shake the Earth and touch the Heavens!
Proverbs 3:5-6 New International Version (NIV)
5Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding;
6in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight.
We look forward to seeing you again. Thank you and may God bless you!
