Welcome to Real Hope In Christ – We’re Glad You’re Here
This is our online worship service for today, Sunday April 5, 2020.
Special Welcome Message
I know from your phone calls, texts and emails that all of us, as the body of the church miss seeing each other and worshiping our God together. Sometimes, as the lyrics from the classic Joni Mitchell song play, "Don’t it always seem to go that you don’t know what you’ve got ’til it’s gone," ring pretty true.
But worshiping God together hasn’t gone away – it’s just temporarily changed a little bit. We may not be together in the same room but we are here together on the same planet. We breathe the same air. We share His blessings and we know His Son, Jesus Christ.
And without a doubt, we do know that God the Father loves us and that He will never leave us.
Truth is we don’t need a building to be the church. We have the love of the Lord God Almighty and we will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.
Now is the time to take this pause, reach into His Word and find the message God is speaking specifically to you.
Know that God always has a plan and it always includes you. To hear what is being said we just have to be quiet, stop moving and listen.Perhaps that’s what is happening right now.
Glory to You in the Highest Father God for You are the one and only true living God.
Nothing comes before You. Nothing is more important or has more purpose than You for You are the Lord God Almighty. You are holy and perfect and righteous in every way.
Your will be done this day and every day forever.
I know that You love me and that I am important to You. I know that You love me forever and have set a place for me at Your table and made Your home my home.
I know everything about You is true and right and loving and cannot be denied.
I know that Jesus Christ is Your one and only begotten Son who You sent to this earth, to rescue me, to save me from my sins and pay my debt.
I ask Father God, in the name most holy name of Jesus that You provide me with the strength, the stamina, the courage and the wisdom to sin no more and walk in the light and the love of Your Son Jesus Christ forever.
Thank You Father God, Amen.

PRAYER: Is Prayer Important?
The way of prayer is truly the way of life. Let us give ourselves to prayer! Jesus prayed much even though He was God’s only begotten Son from eternity past.
Through His words and His actions Jesus tells us how import prayer is.
“Now in the morning, having risen a long while before daylight, He went out and departed to a solitary place; and there He prayed.” Mark 1:35.
“You do not have because you do not ask.”
“Until now you have asked nothing in My name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be full.”
Prayer Partners are available by contacting the church through the website or by calling 352-897-0352. Thanks!
SERMON NOTES – April 5th, 2020
Lead, Follow, AND Get Out of the Way- Pastor Jeremy Foster
Patience can persuade a prince, and soft speech can crush strong opposition.
— Proverbs 25:15
Anything that you have to do is not more important than the person in front of you.
Sometimes God will put you in the middle of a problem because He needs you to be the solution.
He prayed before the problem and prayed his way through the problem.
God needed a leader who would stay faithful even in hard times.
But I want you to keep your head no matter what happens. Don’t give up when times are hard.
Work to spread the good news. Do everything God has given you to do.
— 2 Timothy 4:5 (NIRV)
God needs leaders who aren’t afraid of responsibility.
If you’ll plug into the right inputs you will produce the right outputs.
Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil for You are with me.
–– Psalm 23:4 (BSB)
Most seasons in our life are determined by decisions.
God won’t threaten you into following His instructions.
The direction of your life will be defined by who you follow.
There’s power in pursuit.
Get Out of the Way
How else would we know that with God all things are possible if we never faced the impossible?
If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.
— 2 Chronicles 7:14 (NKJV)
