Bring On The Blessings, When Opportunity Looks Like Opposition

It’s A Seed

Proverbs 3:5-6 New International Version (NIV)

5 Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding;

6 in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.

Every thought is a seed.

Every deed is a seed.

You reap what you sew.

Blessings begin with submission to Gods Will and God’s Ways.

Romans 12:2 New International Version (NIV)

12 Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.

1 Samuel 16:6-7 New International Version (NIV)

6  When they arrived, Samuel saw Eliab and thought, “Surely the Lord’s anointed stands here before the Lord.”

7 But the Lord said to Samuel, “Do not consider his appearance or his height, for I have rejected him. The Lord does not look at the things people look at. People look at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.”

1. The Blessing of Identity

1 Samuel 16:11 New International Version (NIV)

11 So he asked Jesse, “Are these all the sons you have?”

“There is still the youngest,” Jesse answered. “He is tending the sheep.” Samuel said, “Send for him; we will not sit down until he arrives.”

Don’t let your attitude keep you from your anointing.

2. The Blessing of Now.

How you handle now will determine what happens next.

3. The Blessing of Focus

When I place my life, my heart in the Kingdom of God first He helps me focus on what I need to be focused on.

1 Samuel 17:26 New International Version (NIV)

26 David asked the men standing near him, “What will be done for the man who kills this Philistine and removes this disgrace from Israel? Who is this uncircumcised Philistine that he should defy the armies of the living God?”

4. The Blessing of Talking and Walking in Faith.

The God inside of you is always bigger than the giant in front of you.

1 Samuel 17:41-43 New International Version (NIV)

41 Meanwhile, the Philistine, with his shield bearer in front of him, kept coming closer to David. 42 He looked David over and saw that he was little more than a boy, glowing with health and handsome, and he despised him. 43 He said to David, “Am I a dog that you come at me with sticks?” And the Philistine cursed David by his gods.

You can’t pray negative prayer and expect positive results.
